Malfunction: home button of mobile phone is broken
Maintenance process: I received an iPhone 7 motherboard and fingerprint from Taiwan Province. According to the customer’s description, it said that the home key breakpoint, that is the return was too sensitive.
The 7th generation home button is pressure-sensitive and returns according to the pressing force. However, the home button of this machine has the effect of returning immediately when touched lightly, which is obviously abnormal.
Careful observation of fingerprint FPC under microscope shows that the chip on fingerprint FPC has broken marks.

The fault point has been found. Replace the chip on fingerprint FPC.

Remove the chip, process PAD, and make up Solder Mask where copper leaks out.

Back to the chip,fingerprint FPC is flexible, so fix Solder Mask around the chip.

Installation test, return and fingerprint are all normal, and maintenance is over.
